The Night Shift's Back In Force

Back on night shift duty again last night. I had a feeling we would be. Taylor went to bed at 7.30pm and it was gone 12.30am when he went to sleep then he woke up at 2am and again every half hour/hr right through to 6.30am this morning. That was the last time i went into him then he woke up at 10.30am so he only had 4hrs continuous sleep. I am absolutely knackered. Was up at 8am with Dana to get her lunch ready for school and by the time I'd done that i was wide awake and couldn't get back to sleep at all so i only had best part of an hour and half sleep. I did sleep on and off last night but all in all I'd say i got roughly 3/4hrs sleep all together.

I am so glad i wasn't at College tonight, I'd never have coped. Me & Mum went to Dana's Football Awards Presentation at Accrington Stanley FC instead and it took me all my time to stay awake through that!! She was the only girl in her group as the other girl wasn't there. They got a medal and a certificate and their photo's taken to be put on the Accrington Stanley FC Website so she's really excited about that. I am so proud of her. I hope when Taylor gets to age 5 he will be able to join something like that to keep him fit and mobile. I'm going to look into a swimming club for him after Xmas as he loves water and loves going swimming too. It will help stimulate him and help with his senses and hopefully teach him to swim, so if he's ever in a situation where he's stuck in water he will be able to get himself out of danger. Plus it's something we can both do together on our own and it will be a good way of reassuring him that i am there for him when he really needs me. I am also going to get in touch with Sure Start after Xmas and see if they still do sessions in their Space Centre, it's a massive sensory room and it's brilliant, it was also only 50p for an hour last time i took him but that was nearly 2yrs ago. I'm not bothered if it's gone up in price it will do him some good.

We are going to try him with play centres again after Xmas like Little Treasures and Ossy Mills. We stopped taking him as he used to get aggressive and bully other children, he was fine if Dana was with us but if we took him on his own he didn't like it. He loves to climb so Ossy Mills is the best place to take him for that. They have a massive climbing frame there and he can climb up and get down it by himself and really enjoys it, the trouble is getting him down to fetch him home lol.

All is quiet at the moment in time. All 3 kids are in their beds and fast asleep. Jonny, Josh & Lee are all at work and out for the night and Donny, Dana & Taylor are tucked up fast asleep. Room 101 is on and i am heading off to bed to get some sleep in case Taylor decides to have us up again all night. xXx
