Today's attempt to get Taylor into Nursery without a fight went very well. It took 15mins of being chased around outside in the rain by Zoe and a Lazytown CD to get him in but it worked and he went in happy and a big smile on his face so all's well today. Just got Friday to go now then that's it, time to say goodbye *sniffle* he starts Woodnook School 2 weeks tomorrow and i am quietly terrified!!
I've bought the majority of his uniform, just shorts, pumps, jumpers and coat to buy now then we all set. I got him some new school shoes, well they're trainers but look like shoes and for once we didn't have to go through a million and one cartoon character's to get him to wear them. I just got him dressed and put them on him while he was watching Horrid Henry (new obsession) he noticed after about 10mins that he had them on and run around in them then said "Oh wow new shoes" and that was that, he hasn't had them off since!!
I'm quite happy about that as although they are a size too big i bought them as per usual while he wasn't with us (less stressful for all) they are quite wide ones which is perfect for him as length in shoes isn't a problem but width is. They should have been £37 but i got them for £10 in the sale at T.K Max in Blackburn. I've never heard of them before, they're called Duffs. They're a really good make and with the looks of them very hard wearing. They are also fairly flat inside and as Taylor is flat footed they are perfect. We was advised to keep him soft shoes or shoes without a ridge in the inside and they're not easy to find I've looked!! I'm debating weather or not to go back and get some more while they're on sale and put them away for when these get too small as i don't fancy paying £37 for some new ones in a few months time lol.
I have started updating the website but only by adding a new Blog for me to let off steam in. I find it really annoying to have to sign out of here and into my other account to update my Minxy's Blog therefore i forget or just simply can't be bothered and it's being neglected!! So i decided to add one to this website so i can do them both at the same time. I will still update the Minxy's Blog one but not as often. Nothing much has happened since i last blogged except we stripped all the wallpaper off the living room wall on Monday (bank holiday) we are going to start decorating on Friday when Tony gets home from work. Taylor will be at mums Friday as usual but won't be home until Sunday so we don't have to rush to get it all done in one day. Knowing my luck he'll come home and wrip it all off lol. I will update again soon. xXx
