I went to an ASD Seminar today with my friend Tracy and her friend Jess. We had a really good time and learnt some new things and i wrote down loads of notes for tips etc, the speaker Geoff also gave us a few websites to look at too for different things.
We got talking about PECs Schedules and he asked if any of us have a digital photo frame. Me and Jess and a few other people in the room put our hands up and he suggested using them to set the schedule up instead of using laminated ones, which is a really good idea and I'd never though of it either. I remembered that I'd seen some digital photo frame key rings on eBay so i put my hand up and told him about them and he said they were really good as they can carry them around with them all the time and use them for visual aids as well as schedules and most schools accept them too, so although we're not at that stage with Taylor yet it's a good idea for the future. I told Tony about it when i got home and even he said it was a good idea. So I'm going to look into getting one now while they're cheap (roughly about £13 inc p&p on eBay)
It was a nice change today going to Blackpool, even though it wasn't for pleasure!! Just the break from picking Taylor up at dinner routine was really nice, i felt like I'd got my freedom back for the day!! The seminar started at 10.30am and we got there just in time and it finished at 1.15pm so we all went to Funland afterwards for dinner then came home. Had fun and there will be some more seminar's after Xmas and we gave them our email addresses so they can get in contact with us as soon as they know when there on. I will definitely go again.
Right, I'm off to watch Desperate Housewives now hehehe.xXx
