Parents Evening

Well, it went better than expected but still annoyed!! Aparently they have had 3/4 different people come into school to observe and assess Taylor's progress throughout the school mornings on various oaccasions in the last 6 weeks and the reports have come back saying that in their oppinion he is not yet ready to be there for any longer than he already is (which i didn't question aas i know the education office have been involved in at least one assessment due to the fact that he isn't there a full day) i suppose i could have asked for a copy of the reports but i trust them (for now) As long as i don't get socail services n education office banging on my door to find out why he isn't in school full time then i'm (still annoyed) ok with it for now.

We talked about them keeping us more up to date with the 'good' not necessarily the bad things throughout the week. Also at least once a month on a Friday to get together and have a meeting where Tony or Mum can come along and we can see how he's been doing and what he's been doing etc. I also told his teacher that in future if he's been 'naughty' or aggressive and hit someone etc to obviously let me know when i pick him up at diner time but to also arrange for me to go back down at 3.30pm and discuss it with them then, so by that time mum will be here to watch Taylor and i can go down myself and try and get to the bottom of it, maybe the bell or someone shouting loudly scared him and he's reacted by lashing out at the nearest child etc, all that kind of thing. So although we haven't moved up a step with the full days etc at school, i feel we have moved up a step with the communication side of things, but it's early days and we shall see!!! xXx
