HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Happy Valentine's Day everybody, i hope you've all had a really good day. Taylor has been a little star today and has been in a good mood all day. He even made a Valentine's Day card at Nursery by himself. Not much to report really except his Speech Therapist was at Nursery when we picked him up. She'd been in to give them a bit of advice on how to help with his speech and to help them set up a PECS system for them to use with him. She is coming to our house on the 26th at 11.30am to help us do the same. We already have a PECS board on our wall in the dining room but now he can speak to us and tell us what he wants/needs he uses it to play a matching game. He will get his pictures off the board and put them with the objects in the picture!!! I can't see him taking too well to using it like he used to do now he can verbally tell us, also I'm a little worried if he does he'll stop talking again and the last thing we right now after all this time, hard work and effort to get him talking is a 'regression'. I'll keep an open mind and see what happens. Enjoy what's left of your day and hope you're all doing something fun.xXx
