As the title of this post suggests that's what i want to do right at this moment in time. Things have been going well this past week with Taylor. He is still being aggressive at times but not as much as he has been over the last month or two. We've been told a few petty things at school about him which makes us even more determined to get him out asap but then all of a sudden things change in the blink of an eye and everything is going really well.
I've noticed over the last 4/5 weeks that his speech has come on tremendously well and he is now speaking in full sentences and also understands what he's saying or asking. He has had a couple of really good days at school and they also reported to us that he stood with the other children and weed in the urinal rather than using his pull ups or going to the toilet which is a major breakthrough as he won't use the toilet at school at all. He goes to the toilet but will just sit on it with pants and pull ups on and wee in his pull ups, even though he will use the toilet properly at home, so we were all really pleased about that huge milestone for him.
Me and mum called into Taylor's old Nursery yesterday to take them a copy of his school photograph and noticed a big certificate on the wall, they have won the Nursery of the year award so I'm really chuffed for them, they really do deserve it. It feels so weird going back to see them without Taylor. I miss them all a lot and as glad as i am that he's at school (granted not the one he's at now lol) a part of me still wishes he were still at Nursery. He will be 5 in July and it just seems impossible that time has gone so fast. He's not a baby anymore he's growing up and i find that really hard to deal with at the moment. I find it even harder to deal with the fact that Dana will be 11 in November, they grow up so fast these days, i feel like I've blinked and missed it all lol.
Anyway, nothing much has happened since i last blogged apart from Dana created her own Blog on here last weekend called Dana's Gemz of Wisdom, Me and My Brother. The link to it is in the links section on this page. She is in the process of tidying her bedroom at the moment and will be updating it later on today when she's done. She types it all up and i check it for spelling mistakes etc then publish it as she isn't old enough to have her own, so i oversee everything that goes into it before i personally hit the publish post button!! She has done very well, except only doing 1 post, she found her own background for it and chose the colour scheme herself too and it looks really good, I'm very proud of her for being honest in her post too. She wrote it all then asked me about a few things she'd wrote and said i will change it if you want me too but i told her to leave it as it was because that's how she feels. She said she felt a bit embarrassed about leaving it like that because it sounded silly and nasty and to some people it probably will do, but she is only 10yr old and i know what she means and other 10yr olds will understand what she means too, and at the end of the day it was set up like this one and my blog for her to write about how she feels and to get it off her chest, but also hopefully help other children out there see what it is like for her and for the ones who are in the same situation know they are not alone either
