Thank You Twitter

I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to Twitter. I joined this network last year and have met some wonderful people along the way.

As a lot of you who read or follow this Blog will know by now that we have been experiencing lots of problems with Taylor's school. We recently put in for a transfer to another school, and the outcome in still ongoing. Long before we decided to transfer I looked into Homeschooling Taylor and it completely baffled and bewildered me. I researched it on many different websites, forums and Blogs and just got even more confused, so put it on stand-by for a while.

I got talking to a friend on Twitter a while back and she informed me that Homeschooling really is a doddle. I disagreed! She then informed me that it really is a doddle as she did it with both of her own Autistic children. So, I recently took the opportunity to ask for her help and advice on the matter. Over the past few days we have been emailing each other almost non-stop and I have learnt a great deal from her. She has also offered to send me some of her own books to read through and yesterday asked me what reading books Taylor was usuing at school. He fetched one home yesterday so I told her what it was and she said they have quite a few of them and will sort something out.

If it wasn't for Twitter, I would never have found this woman, even though I can't actually remember how I found her/she found me! But either way I am so glad that we got to know each other. So I will end this post by saying:
@AnnieBannister - THANK YOU very very much for all your help and support. I am and will be forever greatful xXx
