Back Again

I hate computers!!! My PC had to be reformatted last week and it is being a complete pain in the arse now. I backed all my stuff up onto Cd's and DVDs and now it's saying that they are all empty discs. Got really cheesed off thinking something had gone wrong and I'd lost everything but all my discs load up in my laptop.

Anyway, Taylor's Speech Therapy starts on the 24th at 10.45am at our local clinic at the hospital. They're also going into Nursery to see him there on the 30th and work with Nursery as well as us so I'm really happy at the moment. I got a reply from Disability Living Allowance people the other day saying that they haven't made a decision yet as they are awaiting a report from his Specialist Health Visitor. He has his Behavioural Psychology meeting on Monday at 10.30am so i will ask Ailsa if she can get in touch with Mary for us and see how long it will take her to do and send his report and if possible can we please have a copy of it to file away. At least i know they are looking into it which is a good sign. If they wasn't interested they wouldn't have requested a report so it's looking positive for now. I will be happier when i finally get a letter with a decision on it then i know what to do next.

Things have been going really well over the last week or 2 despite being full of coughs and colds and running to the toilet every 5 minutes. My best m8 had a baby boy the other day 6lb 8oz and 16 days late!! They took her in Saturday 5th at 7pm to be induced and then left her there until 9pm Tuesday until they had a spare midwife. She had him at 8.52am Wednesday and came home Wednesday tea time. Both are doing fine and i went and had a play today. He's gorgeous and SO tiny. I am going to see the doctor next month when i go for my pill injection and get the ball rolling for my sterilisation. I am more determined to do it now than i was last time i blogged about it. The only thing that's putting me off is the state that the NHS is in at the moment in time plus I'm terrified of hospitals and needles!!!

Taylor has a new support worker at Nursery called Salma (a coloured lass) and he adores her and gets on with her really well. he's had a really good week at Nursery this week and they've said he hasn't stopped talking all week!!

I'm off to watch TV now, i will update on Monday after his Psychology meeting. Have a good weekend everyone.xXx
