Certificate Maker

I found a brilliant website last night where you can create and print your own certificates for your children. It is used by SEN Teachers and also Taylor's Nursery uses it as i found the template for a certificate that Taylor has on our wall!!! I played around with it last night and it's really good. Also there are other things you can do. The link to the site is http://www.senteacher.org/Print/ I made Taylor some 'Well Done Taylor' labels too and they're really easy to do and look really good. I'm going to laminate them and put Velcro on the back so he can use them on his PECS board at home for when he's used the toilet or done something good. I wanted to give him one today for wearing his new Thomas shoes all day at Nursery but i haven't laminated them yet!!! We bought him some new Thomas shoes on Thursday, he wore them for Nursery on Friday but wasn't very keen. I had to get Josh to get him to put them on!!! He wore them yesterday for the Christening party we went to and was OK and he also left them on again today, all day.

I went to a Christening yesterday and left Taylor at home with daddy. After the Christening daddy fetched him to Nana's house and we went to the pub where they had the party. He was really well behaved and watched some people playing pool. He asked one man to pick him up as he couldn't see!!! Then out of the blue he went over to a little boy (he's met him 2ce) and asked him "come with me please" and held his hand and off they went together to play. He did so well and i am so proud of him. Not just the fact that he was well behaved but the fact he has gained enough confidence to go to a strange child and 'ask' him to play with him. I nearly cried when i watched him do it!!!
