I need some help and advise.
Over the past 2 months we've been trying to get Taylor dry at nights and everything seemed to be going well. I made him a sticker chart for his bedroom door. I got him to gather up all his nappies and put them in a box outside his bedroom door, and told him that Santa would come, take them away and leave him some Spiderman pyjama's (which he did!!) and whipee we cracked it. 3 nights on the run no wet beds, then once or twice we had the occasional accident. Altogether he went about 4 weeks leading up to and over Xmas where he was dry every night. BUT...for the past 3 weeks he has been wet everyday. Not only is he wetting the bed in the morning, but he's now wetting the bed in the middle of the night and on odd occasions, while he's still awake watching his DVDs at the start of the night when he's gone to bed.
He won't use the toilet upstairs at night (he says it's too scary) so we put his potty in his bedroom and he does use it. I really don't know what's gone wrong, but no matter what we do or tell him he's still wet at least 2ce a night/day. We are still using his sticker chart but it's having no affect at all now. I don't want to tell him that wetting the bed like he is is naughty or wrong because it's not. I don't think he's doing it deliberately but I really don't know and can't put my finger on the reason he's doing it.
Does anybody out there have any suggestions or tips that can help us? PLEASE if you do either email me at the address at the top of this page or leave a comment below. We are getting desperate now. I've been advised by a few people to take him to the doctors and get tablets or sprays to help, but before I do that I want to exhaust every natural way of doing it that I can. I know he is capable of staying dry as he's already proven that. I just don't know what else to do except scream!!
